GR9 Titanium Rod (Grade 9 Titanium Rod, Ti-3Al-2.5V Rod)
Grade 9 Titanium Rod, also known as GR9 or Ti-3Al-2.5V, is a titanium alloy consisting of 90% titanium, 3% aluminum, and 2.5% vanadium. It is categorized as an alpha-beta alloy, offering a unique combination of moderate strength, excellent corrosion resistance, and superior formability. GR9 Titanium Rod has better strength than commercially pure grades (Grade 1–4) but is easier to form and weld than Grade 5 (TC4).
