Molybdenum block

Molybdenum block is one of the common molybdenum products, and its surface presents silver-white metallic luster or gray-black powder (body-centered cubic crystal). Melting point 2623 ℃. Boiling point 4800 ℃. Relative density 10.2. Soluble in hot concentrated nitric acid, hot concentrated sulfuric acid, aqua regia, slightly soluble in hydrochloric acid, insoluble in water, hydrofluoric acid and liquid ammonia. It has good corrosion resistance, can resist the erosion of high temperature, oxidation and corrosive environment, and is widely used in electronic and optoelectronic industries. In addition, molybdenum blocks are often made into high-temperature structural parts for different high-temperature fields.

    Product characteristics

    1. Molybdenum has a melting point of 2623°C, good creep resistance and can withstand higher temperatures.

    2. Low coefficient of thermal expansion and high thermal conductivity.

    Product use

Used as high temperature heating element and high temperature structural parts

Used as an electrode for furnaces in the glass and refractory fiber industry, it can withstand high temperatures and corrosion in glass furnaces due to its high melting point and chemical stability when working in glass solutions at 1300°C.

Manufacture of electric light sources and electric vacuum parts

Suitable for processing ion injection parts

Used as an electrode in the rare earth industry

It is often used in the manufacture of catalysts and catalyst carriers in the petroleum industry, and is used in the process of refining and synthesizing chemicals.
