Product use

The main uses of high-temperature molybdenum rods include the manufacture of electric vacuum devices and electric light source parts, as well as high-temperature heating elements and high-temperature structural parts, electrodes, etc. In aerospace, nuclear industry, electronic industry and other fields, high temperature molybdenum rod has been widely used because of its excellent high temperature performance and corrosion resistance.

In addition, the production process of high-temperature molybdenum rods usually includes steps such as powder metallurgy or extrusion molding. In the powder metallurgy process, molybdenum powder and lanthanum powder are mixed and pressed into a shape, and then a high-temperature molybdenum rod is made by a heat treatment process such as sintering. In the extrusion molding process, molybdenum alloy powder or molybdenum alloy material is put into an extruder and extruded into a rod shape under high temperature and high pressure.

Please note that when using high-temperature molybdenum rods, attention should be paid to their easy oxidation characteristics. If you need to remove the surface oxide, you can use strong acid (such as fluoric acid, nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, etc.) for treatment, but the operation should pay attention to safety.
