Molybdenum plate

    Molybdenum is hard and soft, and is tougher than tungsten. Molybdenum has a high elastic modulus, tungsten, and tantalum only have a higher melting point. Molybdenum plates are used in many special steels. Some other common uses are molybdenum electrodes, vacuum furnace applications, nuclear energy, missiles and aircraft components.

    The thickness ranges from 0.090 inches to 3 inches and is listed as a molybdenum plate. Molybdenum plate is widely used in mold and parts furnace construction, electronic and semiconductor industry parts manufacturing.

    Silicone molybdenum plates are made using silicon source Si2Cl6 and the silicidation conditions and some of its properties are reviewed. The plates of molybdenum silicide are first deposited, such as 4MoSi2, with an initial stage of 6 m thick (after 10 minutes), and then combined for storage, 30 minutes after the formation of a uniform layer of MoSi2 molybdenum silicide plate. The weight of the silicone plate dissolved by the anode in 0.2 M sulfuric acid increased exponentially, reducing the thickness of the MoSi2 layer. The corrosion of seawater and sea sand and the wear of the silicone molybdenum plate increase the resistivity, thereby increasing the silicidation temperature and the flow rate of Si2Cl6.

    Treatment process

    Molybdenum provides ideal conditions for annealing cold-rolled flat products. The surface of the molybdenum plate can be classified as glossy, matte, or cold-rolled, depending on the thickness and width of the plate.
