Compared to TA8 and TA9, TA10 combines the advantages of molybdenum (Mo), nickel (Ni), and palladium (Pd) alloying elements, resulting in superior performance against crevice corrosion, pitting corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking in harsh chemical media, such as hydrochloric acid and nitric acid mixtures.

TA9 Titanium Wire

TA9 titanium wire is a titanium alloy material known for its excellent corrosion resistance, especially in strong oxidizing environments, such as nitric acid and wet chlorine gas. TA9 corresponds to the internationally recognized Ti-0.2Pd alloy (Grade 7 in ASTM standards). The addition of a small amount of palladium (Pd) significantly improves its corrosion resistance compared to commercially pure titanium, particularly in harsh chemical media.
