A relay is an electronic switching device used to open or close current in an electrical circuit. Tungsten-molybdenum alloys are widely used as contact materials for relays and connectors because of their high melting point, low ablation rate and good electrical contact properties. The stability and reliability of the contacts are critical to the performance of the relay.
