  • Molybdenum-Lanthanum alloy electrode rods, commonly referred to as Mo-La rods, are high-performance materials made by doping molybdenum with a small amount of lanthanum oxide (La₂O₃). This alloy exhibits excellent mechanical strength, improved recrystallization temperature, and superior resistance to thermal deformation, making it ideal for high-temperature and vacuum applications.

    • Composition: Typically contains 0.3–1.2 wt% La₂O₃, with the balance being molybdenum.

    • High Recrystallization Temperature: Up to 1500–1600°C, significantly higher than pure molybdenum.

    • Improved Creep Resistance: Excellent dimensional stability under thermal stress.

    • Fine Grain Structure: Enhances machinability and surface finish quality.
